Should I Tell My Child About Drinking?
- DWI program:
a 16-week state-approved course for persons subject to the penalties
for driving under the influence of alcohol or other addictive drugs.
- Professional
training is available
to individuals or groups who provide medical, social, criminal justice,
religious or other human services. Training includes CADC (Certified
Alcohol and Drug Counselor) classes.

- Prevention Links Resource
Center with books, literature, and videos on issues surrounding
addiction to alcohol, tobacco, or other substances. Literature
is offered free of charge to individuals, groups, students, and businesses
(some also available in Spanish).
- Community
awareness: Prevention
Links representatives speak to community and professional groups. We
also participate in health fairs and other local events. Prevention
Links promotes public awareness through the media including television,
radio, and print.
- Advocacy:
Prevention Links alerts local and state legislators to issues concerning
alcoholism, tobacco use and drug addictions.
- Specialty

the Congregational
Assistance Program (CAP), and Parenting Programs: Strengthening
