Who We Are
Prevention Links is a private, not-for-profit organization, which takes a leadership role in the prevention of alcohol, tobacco, substance abuse and related issues. The goal of Prevention Links is to provide an array of information in substance prevention issues, from pre-K through senior citizens. This is achieved by providing programs and services linking individuals, groups, businesses and communities in Union County, New Jersey. Alcohol and drug abuse results in both economic and social costs to the community. Prevention Links focuses on individual, family, school, and community prevention, thereby contributing to a comprehensive and more effective prevention effort.

Program Model
Prevention Links, Inc. strives to provide high quality, evidence based programs to Union County, New Jersey. Our agency and staff follow the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention’s (CSAP) Strategic Prevention Framework Model. We feel using the most current theories and research will help us to provide the best possible service to our community. Many of our programs utilize NREPP approved curriculums to ensure our interventions are effective. Prevention Links is Union Counties Substance Abuse Prevention Agency…Because We C.A.R.E.!!!”

Traveling West:
Take Route 28 going west; turn left onto WALNUT AVE at the center of Cranford. Continue straight. After you go under the underpass of the Parkway, #35 is the second building on the left. Go in the driveway past the building

Traveling North:
Take the GARDEN STATE PARKWAY NORTH to exit number 135, towards CLARK/WESTFIELD. Enter circle and take the 2nd exit onto VALLEY ROAD (toward The Crowne Plaza Hotel) at 1st traffic light, turn left onto WALNUT AVE. #35 is the third building on right. Enter driveway before the building.

Traveling South:
Take the GARDEN STATE PARKWAY SOUTH to exit number 135, once you exit, bear right onto CENTRAL AVE towards WESTFIELD. Take CENTRAL AVE to 1st light, make right onto RARITAN ROAD. Go two lights; make a right onto WALNUT AVE. After you go under the underpass of the Parkway, #35 is the second building on the left. Go in the driveway past the building.

Traveling East:
Take Route 28 to CENTRAL AVE. in WESTFIELD. Make a right onto CENTRAL AVE. Go through (4-5) lights; make a left onto RARITAN ROAD. Go two lights; make a right onto WALNUT AVE. After you go under the underpass of the Parkway, #35 is the second building on the left. Go in the driveway past the building.
